Skribit Widget Added
I’ve recently been very busy with client work that is taking up all of my time (and if I’m not working on it, I’m spending my free time brainstorming it) so I’ve had very little time to dedicate to anything else. I did, however, manage to add a Skribit widget to the sidebar.
For those that don’t know, Skribit is a startup by Paul Stamatiou and a couple of other people which lets you add a widget to your blog where users can add and vote on suggestions as to what you should blog about. It seems like a good way to collect feedback for what people want to see on the site so if you’ve got some ideas on what you want me to blog about in the future then please post it there. You’ll have to scroll down a bit probably to get to the widget as it is buried midway in the sidebar but you can post anonymously or if you’re logged in to your Skribit account. Others then can also vote on your suggestion if they like it.
I’ve added a couple of starter suggestions for topics that I’ve planned to write about for a while now but didn’t get around to. It seems that if you add a suggestion you won’t be able to add another one unless you refresh the page as the Submit button doesn’t become activated (probably to avoid spam) so just wanted to let you know that in case you run into it. To submit a suggestion, just click on the “What should I blog?” link in the Skribit widget. I definitely appreciate feedback and look forward to seeing what you want to see me write about.
