Well, it’s time to start heading off to Flash in the Can. I’ll be back on Thursday morning so you won’t see any activity here for a few days as I’m not even bringing my computer (getting away from computers to see more… computers). Have fun everyone!
So as you’ve probably noticed by now, I’ve added Google AdSense to the blog. I figured that not everyone can make a monetary donation so this was a good alternative. It should only display 3 ads per page so it won’t get too cluttered and I opted for the smaller 468×60 ads. If you’d like to “help the cause”, and every bit helps, please just click an ad here and there and it’ll filter its way through to me. I’ve also added a link under each title of each post called “Show Some Love” which is a direct link to the PayPal donation page. Again, none of this is required but I really do appreciate it and it’s a good way to give back for all the hard work that goes into maintaining this blog.

I just updated this blog to run on the brand new WordPress 2.5. I don’t see anything wrong with the upgrade and for the most part all of the plugins I was using on the site work (with the exception of Live Search which apparently isn’t going to be updated by the author) so if you find anything, please by all means let me know. Thanks.
So after a month and a half of renovating, I’m not setting up furniture, internet, TVs, home theater systems, and all that jazz. It’s been quiet around here the past week or two because I’ve been running around like a madman trying to finalize everything with the renovation and making sure I have everything I need to live comfortably in my new home. Once EVERYTHING is completed, I promise to post some new cool stuff. I apologize for slacking lately, just a lot going on right now.
I installed an updated version of the post ratings plugin and it caused some issues with the rating system. It is not fixed so please continue rating as usual. I always appreciate the feedback to let me know if the posts are on track or not!
I’ve been very busy lately with the whole move and remodeling on top of a huge project that’s eating up all my time so I haven’t had a chance to do much around here. I did, however, update the AS3 ContactForm due to an issue that Damien Oliver outlined in the comments so if you’re using the class, please make sure to update (it’s just an update to the PHP script, not the actual AS file). Well, today was the day of the big move and I’m happy to say that everything went smoothly. All my stuff is piled up in the garage because my dad is going to be working on some stuff at my new home for the next couple of weeks so I’ll be working out of my parents house for a while. I’ll continue to publish new stuff during this time as soon as I can get my setup ready so there shouldn’t be too much of a delay in new stuff. I’ve got some cool stuff coming out soon, but as always I’d appreciate if people sent in requests for what they’d like to see on the site as far as code goes (or anything else for that matter).
