I had seen a post on Veerle’s blog (an excellent design resource) a while ago chronicling her first website. I thought back to my first Flash site that I did while at school in early 2004 for my favorite movie Snatch and figured I’d resurrect it and share it with everyone. It’s always fun to […]
Even before 2009 came around, I had made the decision to sell on FlashDen to earn some extra money on the side. I kept seeing all these files on the site that were, well, just not that good. But what really sold me on selling there was looking at the top sellers and seeing how […]
Apparently FeedBurner is part of Google now so the RSS feed here has changed. The old URL will still push you to the new one but just to make it official you should probably update your feeds to point to http://feeds2.feedburner.com/evolve. Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone eventually runs into trouble […]
Like the last post about Doc?, I just wanted to let everyone know that it has been updated to version 2.1 which brings some welcome changes, most notably plugins. The plugins are for Eclipse and the Flash IDE which allows you to have a panel (YAY!) inside of either of these environments that allows you […]
You’ve heard my cries about the Flash CS4 help panel here and here. Apparently others have too and I got an email over the weekend from Jeroen Beckers about a new application that he and a friend put together called Doc? This is basically what the Flash Help panel used to be in CS3 as […]
Have a happy Martin Luther King Day. It also happens to be my birthday today (I’m 26) and I think a pin I got on Friday from my girlfriend’s cousins said it perfectly: “Another Year Sexier” 😛
I’ve finally bit the bullet and signed up for a Twitter account. I’m probably the last person on earth to sign up, but in case you’re interested in following me, my username is “reintroducing”. I’m not sure how much I’ll actually be using it but I’ll give it a shot at least. If you’ve got […]
Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and happy new year. If you’re driving, don’t drink, and if you’re drinking, don’t drive. Let’s hope for an even better 2009!
Yes, it’s the obligatory holiday post. To those who celebrate it, Merry Christmas. To those that don’t, happy holidays. Everyone have a safe holiday season and enjoy the weather (especially if you’re in Chicago, like me). And I’m making this post today because I won’t have time to do it tomorrow, FYI.
I’m sure everyone has noticed the lack of updating even after I got back from vacation. I’m here to outline some reasons (read: excuses) why things have slowed down so tremendously here lately.
